Guidelines for abstract submission

Presenting author: Should be listed as first author. An individuals can be co-author on multiple abstracts, but first author only on one abstract .

Font type Times New Roman

Title Font size 12, bold, centered sentence case with no full stop at the end.

Authors Presenting author’s name should appear first in the list of authors.

Author names should be in regular font, as surname following the first name initial separated by comma. Author names should be separated by a semicolon. Where authors are from a number of different institutions, the appropriate institution number from the affiliation list should be given as a superscript number immediately after each author's name.

Affiliations regular font, centered and should include department, institute and country. In case of multiple affiliations, each should be listed as a separate paragraph. Institutes should appear in the order used against the author names and show the appropriate superscript number.

Formatting/Main

text

Maximum length of the text is 2600 characters. Please use regular font setting and single line spacing. The text should be justified, without hyphenating words at line breaks. Make sure that formulas and special characters appear correctly. You may use whatever formatting is needed in the body of the abstract. If appropriate, please divide the abstract into labeled sections for Introduction, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.

Statement on the bottom of the (abstract) page:

I/we agree, if accepted, to provide an expanded abstract of 3 printed pages (as directed) by June 1 2008 for publication in the Proceedings of the Satellite Meeting and on the website of IVIS (www.ivis.org).

Sent by e-mail to antonio.borghese@entecra.it in doc or rtf format (MS Word). In the subject of the message, please, type ICAR Satellite Meeting and the name of presenting author.
